Tasting Notes:
Ageing in US oak barrels (30% new oak) for 8 months minimum with micro-oxygenation. Intense garnet-red colour. Quite intense, with notes of spices, vanilla and red berries. Full-bodied with aromas of cocoa, coffee, vanilla, ripe red fruits, ending on a long liquorice finish.
Food Pairing:
Red meat, cassoulet (regional dish with baked beans and sausages), duck, game and cheese. |
